On June 6, 2016, Mersen proudly reached a milestone achievement: 1000 days without a lost time accident at its Canadian based manufacturing facility, Mersen Canada Toronto Inc.
“Mersen’s commitment to workplace safety is not just about avoiding hazards,” said Mr. Ahmed Zaghlol, General Manager, Thermal Management North America. “It’s also about adjusting our behavior at work on a daily basis to continually evaluate safety procedures and plan for potential improvement. We at Mersen strive to create a work environment where any safety observation or discussion is not only welcomed but systematically evaluated and reviewed for implementation. We see no limitation as to how to improve safety procedures in workplace. In this way, we remain focused on the most important safety goal of all, which is to have each employee return home every day as healthy as when they arrived at work.”
The company located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada designs, builds and tests high performance heat sinks for customers worldwide, serving the transportation, industrial, power electronics and energy markets.
