See Mersen at the 2017 IMARK Showcase
March 28-30, 2017
Mersen will feature its line of Surge-Trap® Surge Protective Devices (SPDs) and will highlight the Fused Coordination Panelboard at the IMARK Showcase, booth #202-204, March 28-30 in Chicago, Illinois.
Mersen’s Surge-Trap line includes six surge protection products designed and manufactured by Mersen with the latest materials, layouts and components, including the industry leading TPMOV Technology. All are NEMA devices for ANSI/UL 1449 Type 1 and 2 applications, indoor and outdoor use, with a wide range of protection levels in addition to different mounting configurations and optional features. The Surge-Trap product line represents a broad suite of products for all your application requirements.
Mersen’s Fused Coordination Panelboard (FCP) can simplify the process in achieving code compliance for designers. Selective Coordination is required in several locations as defined in the National Electrical Code® (NEC). The Fused Coordination Panelboard helps by providing a combination rated circuit breaker and fuse for branch circuit protection that ensures fuses will open only on short-circuits and the circuit breaker can easily be reset on common overloads.
Mersen’s FCP provides a simple 2:1 coordination ratio with upstream Amp-Trap 2000 fuses, eliminating the need for a costly short circuit current study. Panels are provided with a default short circuit current rating (SCCR) of 200kA and provide overcurrent protection through a combination of a circuit breaker and a fuse. Mersen’s FCP is a UL67 listed panelboard that utilizes commonly available class CC and J fuses.
